There are 15 spaces available for MAGPI Members with H.323 videoconferencing capabilities

Digital library and learning objects, virtual field trips, remote instrumentation, virtual worlds - - join this session for an overview of various resources available over the Internet2 and MAGPI networks that can enrich and support STEM initiatives in your classroom or institution. Participants will be provided with a resource handout and activities that they can integrate into their classroom next day, as well as long-term strategies for developing collaborative partnerships and integrating STEM technologies into the classroom.

Scheduled Presenters:

The Exploratorium: Kurt Feichtmeir, Director of Extended Learning at the Exploratorium will share the Exploratorium’s collection of Web resources that take advantage of cutting-edge Internet2 technology. Resources include DVD-quality streaming video, high-fidelity radio and 3-D imagery. You’ll also learn about other digital learning objects and tools available through the Exploratorium’s website.

The Library of Congress: The Library of Congress will be sharing the history of science and technology resources available through their collection.
